This was awesome Halo, Really deep filled with your inner emotions and the truth has just spilled out.
I liked the hopelessness at the beginning and the more deeper emotions here. Describing this in ways we can allr elate to, everyone has the walls that they put up for various reasons.
I like how the ending kind of twisted into a more hopeful outlook, like all of the above would not stop you from moving on and trying your best, as after all this is all you can do. Like you state in your poem, about truly accepting and living, and just being who you are and knowing who you are.
It's most difficult to know yourself, inside and
out and to accept what you are, to fully feel with
hands and heart, the pain and the joy, to love and declare
without fear.
- it is so true that this is so hard and many of us struggle with this so much we choose to ignore it and accept what others tell us about ourselves and believe them, instead of finding out for ourselves.
