Hopes

by Edward Oropeza   Oct 10, 2012

Tears, oh tears,
whispers of a wounded heart
a heart begging for mercy
whose soul was stolen
and longing to find it

Fears, oh fears,
a scream whose voice could never be heard
darkness is all that can be embraced
and shadows of the past is haunting
and nobody can see the trace

Years, oh years
everything is broken
everything is new
and healing is made
reborn in new hope

Clears, oh clears
the stain is vanished
shoulders of light
bid that emptiness
fill that yearnings

Love the layout and format of this, with the repeated lines of each stanza. This worked very well and I adored the message inside.

    Very nicely done.
