All It Takes

by Angel   Oct 12, 2012

All it takes is one person who says you're not beautiful
To ruin a lifetime of compliments saying that you are
All it takes is one comment telling you that you're fat
To make you feel so insecure that you'll starve yourself for the rest of your life to prove them wrong
All it takes is being told once that no one loves you
To ruin a life time of "I Love Yous"
All it takes is to be told once that you'll never get anywhere in life
To lose all faith and hope in yourself
All it takes is to be told once that you're worthless
To believe that you'll never be anything
All it takes is one bad relationship
To ruin your view on every relationship you have
All it takes is one person telling you that you're nothing
For you to become depressed
All it takes is one person to tell you to go die
For you to think about it then give yourself one cut that will turn to 10 to 100's to 1,000's
So watch what you say because all it takes is a couple of words
To end a life.
Not everyones lives can be turned around. I wish everyone could be happy. I was lucky enough to be able to see the light.
For me all it took was one guy who showed me real and true love
For me to be able to change my mind on many of those things
I may still struggle with most of that but slowly I'm thinking better of myself
Next time you feel like giving up
Remember why you hung on for so long
Just Hold On because Pain Ends (HOPE)
And better things will come. No matter how bad things are times can and will get better. Just give it time. I gave it time and my life is turning around. I'm with a guy who makes me happy and he makes me feel like I'm worth something. So never give up. I'm proof that things can and will get better
