Last Glimpse Of Life

by Hope Vanity Chambers   Oct 13, 2012

There I lay,the cool winds soothing my burning skin.
Letting the freezing raindrops extinguish my fiery eyes.
As I watch the ink blot clouds produce a metalic glow,
around those deppresing stars of yours.
Booming thunder fills my ears, the rain becomes faster
it's like little bullets hitting your skin not
painful but perhaps enjoyable.
I throw a rock into the soggy garden seeing how well it had soaked the water.
It was as if the sky was imitating the color of the devil's eyes.
Dark and bold,so interesting.Grabbing my sketch book and start to paint the sky.
Stroke by stroke the sky gets darker,a perfect replica of the sky,
a memort I shall cherish forever.
All of a sudden darkness takes over my eyes.
I dont fight it because i know its time I just let it engulf me.
The last thing I saw was a the matte finish of the sky
and a glimpse of thunder.......
