China has this appeal I know. Never had the chance to visit this mountain but other places that I did visit left me with a sense of wonder and...a certain peace I guess.

When you think about it really...these people have been light years ahead of us for centuries and...it's only now we are recognising their achievements and their togetherness I think....nice verse...liked it a whole lot!

      Thank you, Hellon.
As a side note, it took Rosaura & I five hours to climb the mountain, even with taking a cable car 1/3 of the way. The path was entirely concrete stairs (some depressingly overbearing in their ascent). All along the way numerous temples, shrines and statues erected over the past 3,000 years humbled us. No less humbling: the great number of very aged climbers who were there from devotion and the very young climbers who were there with their parents.

I truly admire chained senryu's- they are difficult to write, because you want to keep the reader captivated and you are limited with the wording due to syllable structure... this chained senryu had me speechless.

The message itself was a powerful, intriguing and thought provoking. Larry took me on an adventure to this elegant place, and I have to say I was captivated from start to finish.

It was spiritual and had a sense of nature tones throughout, which for me was just a beautiful read from start to finish... Awesome!!
