Did I inspire this? Our talks seem to revolve around this poem. LMAO im jk.

Yaki, this is so sad. This could speak about a lover, or a family member, or a friend, either way a one sided relationship is so unhealthy to be in and so discouraging. Its a crap feeling to care for someone so deeply and they dont feel the same.

I love what you did with this and you know what I love most about your poetry, Ive noticed it often, you break the readers heart at the end, you'll say one thing, usually a quote from someone and its just so sad....I love that about your poetry. How moving it is and can cause a reaction out of me like no other.

    Loved this.

I shouldn't have read Chels comment... sigh.

Anyways, I know that you're brave, your poems show... because although you find a way to present what it is you want to say in a touching way it is always understandable and you do not sugarcoat things, but face them. That straightforwardness in your style causes for your poems to open my eyes far too often.

I also realized that you manage to focus on something and basicially lay it into my hands as I read the poem, so that it is not only present for you, but the reader too.

It's so obvious that she really lightened your day and you think so highly of her.

    "white and full candles."
^ white- the color of innocence and well candles may light our way or support us differently... that is why many people light a candle during tough times (they feel as though it's a connection to God... but that isn't how you mean it here, but more the idea of support).

The ending really got to me and it hit me hard, but I still enjoyed this peom, especially because of that.
