Monsters and tea

by lillie   Oct 16, 2012

Moon is full with light.
Outside my window I stare into the night.
My hands tremble, bruised and scared out into the
shadowy woods is a bright yellow light.
It calls to me , it calls to you, but for what purpose?
and for who?

My window slowly unlocked with its key.
No choice but to jump, I sprain my good knee.
Closer to the forest a big glow, 2 purple eyes and
a razor sharp smile, that sparkled.

"Who are you? and what do you wish?"
Those 2 big eyes disappeared, wind blowing the trees moving them like fish.

A voice behind me far into the forest so deep.

"You are what I want, I have visited you in your sleep"

My heart began to beat,I was in for a treat, my
arteries had all began freeze. I felt it take my hand and my eyes shut I had squeezed. What was this creature and who could he be? Was this monster only visible to me?

His fingers so cold, like iron, he heard my final plea.

" Sir please I mean no harm"

He pushed me hard before a door, and rang the alarm.

"Hello child. come on in!"

The voice was deep and demonic but without a sin.
Big sparkly glowing eyes, with a horrific grin.

Sitting at a table, cuffed to a chair, one monster
speaking to me, as the other combed my hair.

"Please let me go!!
It felt as if it were forever and the seasons turned to snow.

I was cuffed to this steel cold chair, crying with plea,
2 demonic monsters, laughing pouring me my last cup of tea.

2 demonic creatures, with a girl chained in place who would never be freed.

Nice poem you got here. The rhyming is there, I like that, but its the title that caught my attention. Really cool, some sort of an Alice In Wonderland thing, but in a dark, twisted way, or something close to that lol. Anyways, all in all, great poem.
