I keep reading this one Maple, it is in one way like you are talking about two other people and their relationship, but in another way it is like you are talking about yourself and the other person. Like you are watching the other half of you step back and hide when really the other half wants you to take a chance and fly. Perhaps because of the pain from the past experience you are weary of spreading your wings again which is why you decide not to fly. |
Appears that this person (a male) is trying to communicate messages to his loved one (a female) via a "he" spirit (medium). The spirit tried briefly to connect them "He spoke to me in December" (implying the male character is also a spirit himself) briefly connected with his loved one, but could not bear to see her grief so did not try again. Thereafter the narration is the imagination of the male character |
