To feel again

I have been numb
for so very long
walking through the years
all feelings gone

i have been this way
to many years to count
because my pain
was a unbearable amount

im so afraid to be open
and sometimes i have doubt
i have a hard time
getting all my words out

you came into my life
you broke down my wall
and now i am
starting to feel it all

i am feeling the
good and the bad
along with the
happy and the sad

you can make me
laugh and smile
thats when feeling
feels worthwhile

sometimes i feel so
irritated and frustrated to
beacuse of all the emotions
you put me through

you can make me
feel so glad
at the same time that
you make me mad

you make me feel
all this and so much more
you make me feel things
that ive never felt before

i feel so lost and confused
like i dont have a clue
but the one thing i know
is how much i love you
