Friendship

by kimberly lewis   Oct 17, 2012

We had a fight, it isn't wrong but neither is it right.

Words were said, no tears were shed.

I don't like this sad, mad feeling you left me holding inside.

Talk to me, make it better for both of us, don't let it ride.

The friendship we have I am told,

Is hard to find and harder yet to hold.

My grip is firm and wide,

Open up your heart, let me inside.

I pray we can settle this,

Much harder to do then a kiss.

There's a right and wrong way to fight.

Words unspoken is a friendship that's broken.
