Esteemed children

by Alanis   Oct 19, 2012

The broken life of an esteemed child.
The hurt shielded between their
Innocent eyes. The purging of their
lost souls at the boarder line. The
Greeting of defeat haunts their
Sweet dreams. The broken lies they
Conceive and inherit in their muddy
Generations. They drink the words of a bitter end. They accept defeat without
Regret. They perceive judgement and reduce shallow behaviour. They live on youth and die as an elder. They welcome death with open arms and a resentful smile. They run with demons and fly with angels. They drink from the cup of prosperity and eat from a forbidden fruit platter. They are the immature at heart and the elderly in actions.
