Paths We Walk

by Nicole   Oct 20, 2012

I couldn't see the rock in my path.
I tripped and fell on my face.
I should have appreciated what I had.
But I gluttonized myself to waste.

Life is based off trial and error.
Don't take for granted an empty stare.
It only gets better, if you let it.
Don't hate the path you walk, befriend it.

When you fall on your face, you must get up.
Dust yourself off and laugh with the rock.
Don't just lay there and let yourself rot.
Don't gluttonize the dirt; Learn when you've had enough.

Don't walk with your eyes closed.
Because your bound to fall.
You will trip over another rock.
Even if its really small.
