Yip..it happens...how fickle is life...how fickle are friends...you can wallow in dissapointment but...that's not going to change anything so...just giggle instead...giggling is good for you!

Life's too short...move on....nothings worth stressing yourself out over...especially on here....

I always know what it's like to love people so much but when you tell them they just shrug it off and say "I know" but really they don't know how much...

Venting is good, we need these kind of writes at times, and you deserve to giggle, you deserve happiness and you'll find it with or without these people
    :)

Sad write but at the same time it is very true, it is a pain that hurts so much we cannot help but feel disappointed. We try our best and sometimes we get nothing in return not even the acknowledgment of our kindness or love.

    Keep venting. xx

I've read this piece a few (dozen) times now and I can't help but love it even more every read through I have.

I love how you have jilted in one stanza and wilted in another... the little internal rhyme there, while probably not intentional, was interesting to see and makes me want to create a new rhyme pattern!

The piece where wilted was used, deserving to feel young.. OH I loved that part. It made me think of my Grandma.. everyone overprotected her because she couldn't get around as much as she used to, and she ended up getting left out of a lot of things.. and the look on her face was heartbreaking.

This is such a beautifully sad poem.. my gosh. And I love (all of it, lol) but I love the "sweet insomnia" part too. :)
