The pain we felt
Growing up without you their
Playing the cards we were delt
Many things we wanted to say
Dreams and new thoughts each day
Sometimes wishing we could take back
Some of our skeptical things we say
Jus to be more positive in some way
In life we felt you were never their
Not even to hold us
In time of fear
Not even in time of need
We understand we changed our ways,
But how can u tell you was never their
But we will say some come from child hood memories
But we pray each and every day that
The love from our mother would come one day
Although you will probally never see or hear
Our feelings behind our child hood memories
We still love you deeply <3
As our mother, and also our friend
You could still never see
The angry little children that lie within
Notice we've changed each and everyday
We've grown to follow your footsteps
But in a totally different way
Although we don't know,
Quite where the road might lead us
One thing we do know
Is that the pain still remains
Do you ever think how your kids are doing
And not somebody's else's

If we ever needed your help
