Insipid converse

by Brittany   Oct 21, 2012

My life is like a shoe.
Smile, stylish, insipid converse.
I can go with any outfit
I am insipid, Timid.
Boring.

I am worn out,
I am falling apart only;
To be held together by insipid,
Grey duck tape.

Iv'e been stepped on,
Forgotten, worn in..
Thrown away.
Only to live my life
Insipidly.
Inside a old shoe box,
I rot.

This poem is very clever, comparing yourself to an object and a very good job you done of this too.

The image was clear of how you viewed yourself. And the ending of you being in a box shows a lot, it shows how you can feel alone, forgotton and so many other things.

Nice usuage of the word isipid. I had to look this up to gain a better understanding of your poem and is a very powerful word which you used well throughout.

    Nice work.
