Unnumbered (Quest)ions.

by Solus   Oct 23, 2012

How long have I dwelt here...how many times have I reached for that one thing in the dark?

What is it to seek that indefinable something in silence...or is it noise?

To find...what? Love? Understanding? Or an age of numbness?

Is this that concept of alone? I have forgotten how to cry...but for who?

This is excellent. Depression though hard is a wonderful thing because it teaches us to find ourselves again, our strengths and our weaknesses.

Another brilliant wrote and I agree that though it was short it definitely want incomplete, Em

Intriguing piece. I enjoyed the length, the succinctness; it made me want to read more, but at the same time, it didn't seem incomplete, cut short.
This is about depression, I take. The tint of abstractness is made by the tone, which is haunting and really fitting.
I liked the use of ellipses as it gave this a really unique flow, much like that of a person lost, and perhaps deranged? Shows how depression is overpowering, it can cause so much more.

"Is this that concept of alone?"

Perhaps it's just me, but I thought it would be better to change that to: the.

    " I have
    forgotten to cry...but for who?"

The ending really made it for me. Just thought that maybe you could insert a 'how' after "forgotten."
