I'm Not Thinking About You

by Lori Lee   Oct 24, 2012

I'm not thinking about you
I'm not picturing your face
Your curse has died down..
Vanished without a trace.

I'm not talking about you
Your name doesn't cross my lips
My life is better with you gone
There's peacefulness and bliss.

I no longer have to worry
And live in constant terror..
Me allowing you to possess me,
That was my mistake, my error.

But those bridges have been burned,
That was the very end.
We're past the point of no return..
And we won't be doing that again.

I'm happy now and treated good..
Something you could never do.
And believe it..please believe it..
I'm not thinking about you :)

In punctuation, freedom diverts. He who conquers rage, wins the fight.
