The description of tears in every form is simply amazing. You drew a beautiful yet sad painting in my head allowing me to imagine the painful situation.

'Softly weeping rivers of sadness
as they grow wider on my cheeks.

Tears accumulating faster
making these rivers deep. 

Quickly drowning all alone
in my salted crystal tears.'

^ I can feel the amount of crying that has been done after reading those lines. Your use of words such as 'river','wider','accumulating'..that are related to water shows how much tears were wasted and therefore how sad you really were.

' I rely on my pillow to soak them up,
absorbing my flowing pain. 

Soft fluffy feathers covered with cotton,
a comfort found through routines of sleepless nights.'

^ here you described your pillow reflecting its important role helping you each night, which only shows the pain you feel every single day and your constant crying throughout the nights. I personnally thought this part was very meaningfull and true in a way I could relate to easily.

'When morning comes the rivers have evaporated
and my pillow becomes dry once more. 

My reliable pillow, my trusted confidant,
thank you for never letting me drown.'

^ here I love it how you connected the pillow becoming dry in the morning to your evaporated tears, it's like that pillow made the pain go away instead of keeping it absorbed. I also love how the final line 'never letting me drown' is almost like you're saying 'never letting me down' and they're both what's intended here. Your pillow has protected you and has helped you overcome your crying through every night. As much as this poem is an image of sadness and hurt , it is an incredible piece that I enjoyed reading.
