Seclusion (Opprobrious)

by MyHalozChokinMe   Oct 26, 2012

Cold, dead sound
filtered through
a sinner with
an aching heart.

Bleeding soul,
sterilized,
confessed hands
music and maker;
Opprobrious in the
aubergine sadness.

Adamant melancholy,
blissfully suffocating.
Metaphor; broken search
for the rapacious plague
of sublimity.

A taunting perfection of
which, in open emptiness,
her disinfected hands shall
never capture.

This she knows,
but cannot live by,
for humanity is
a brutal
loneliness.

I have to say I loved this one and thought you done an amazing job, It was good to study the word you were given for the challenge but then when I sit down to read through your poems I always open up a seperate window for the dictionary because you use such unique words in your poetry which I have to look up and learn what they mean !

such a deep poem of sadness and loneliness, and also longing for that something she feels she will never have. <3 nicely written
