Larry I read this piece last night at first posting and now again this morning with my coffee.. I don't think I have ever read a more heart gripping piece than this piece here... Not many folks write of their Ex wives/husbands, and so when I read this, it warmed my heart.

On a personal note: I stayed friends with my Ex Husband and a few years ago he passed away, and then I started writing about his precious soul. Im so happy that you have written this piece.. I think more people need to embrace the friendship of the one they once called Husband/ or Wife.... honor that friendship as you have done here. Beautiful piece.... On a technical note I really loved the descriptive timeline of getting off the train and then at dinner... Truly a touching poem and I thank you for sharing~

This is a lovely tribute to a matured relationship. It's great to see when people have the grace to overcome any ego or pettiness and embrace their shared history together.

Larry, while I cannot relate at all to this piece, I found the piece interesting and well crafted, very wise and mature like yourself...

I loved the way it was worded and I could imagine you with your phone out, searching for the place you waited in, on the platform...it was a really interesting image but a lovely one at that

    I enjoyed this piece...it's wonderful
