Thanks god it's Friday

by Ole Carsten   Oct 26, 2012

Afternoon daydreaming
Softly leaning my head
The couch was empty
The pillow left free.

Another day is passing me
Solitude is knocking on the door
It is weekend with tons to do
But now it's Friday afternoon.

Planning with the head on a pillow
Stretched out on the couch
Leaning forward to reach the remote
Pressing the keys to mumuland.

Life in fast forward
Running to the shops
Buying and buying
Don't forget anything

Legs that hardly hit the ground
Now cleaning all has to shine
Cooking in hot steam
The freezer screams for more.

Where are the swimwear
Biking to the pool
Has to reach 2000 meter
Rushing home again.

The phone is ringing
Hi what are you doing?
I don't know really
I must have slept....
