Golden

Petals of rust
and marigold
etch mascara
outlines of an
iris, lost within
shadows
of trees,
night
embraces
a heart
of a
tiger,
lurking
slowly
to the
other side....

And once again you have pulled off such imagination with your words and yet there is hardly any words there. I don't know how you do this but it is extreme talent! x

You are a genius, how did you write this?
The imagery is really strong here, I can see the colours and the dripping mascara and the tree's and the tiger moving slowly, like he is on the prowl, the strength and the sight is really powerful, I always love short pieces that I can get into, that transport me into another world, or just another place for those few seconds it takes me to read it and it is this kind of poem that I love (I said that already, right?)
and now I am rambling on and not even sure of what I am saying...but I love this, and I love you
