SHUT UP

by MyHalozChokinMe   Oct 28, 2012

I am certainly not a damsel in distress,
no need to save me.

I know where I'm going, no need to tell me I'm lost.

Who said I must follow your path, to a truth that was passed down from this one, that one and then on to you?

A possible truth that became
re-worked,
re-worded,
and eventually an untruth that you claimed.

Let's see how many people you can get to believe
in this hipocrisy-

I digress...

Who said I was wrong in my path?

Who determines what lies become truths, what truths become laws?

Now is the time, not a hundred years from now-
show and prove,
configure and fix,
stop the bullshit
antics of lunatics,
preaching words
that fall from the
sky and hit the
ground running,
no meaning,
no structure,
dust from the
tooth fairy's wand.

Who said I must believe or righteousness will never
be mine?

Who are you to have that much power?

I most certainly never gave my permission.

Love it <3 You are so great at speaking up for yourself, your beliefs and what is right for you. You express so well how you will not be influenced into believing in something which you do not. No one will force you to go down a path you do not want to travel because no one has the right to do this, it is your choice. We have all got this choice and should respect other people's choices too instead of tying to force them to join our paths!

    Great poem.
