COLD LOVE

by Mkanya Anele   Oct 29, 2012

When the love is so cold.

When the doubts arise,

are we going to grow old?

We always seem bored.
This is cold love.

Arguments are our everyday meal.

heartaches are a disease we can't heal.

When we are sharing love we both can't feel.

This gets me thinking, can all this be real!

Remembering that you were once my ideal.
Maybe this is all a dream.

I wonder where they flew to,

the butterflies in your stomach.

They flew away with all the spark.

We are only left with the marks.
That's where our love once struck.

I'm cold in this love.

Is it worth giving it a shot?

We claim we love each other a lot

but we treat our love as an aught.

We cooked our love in a melting pot.

We are riding in different trains of thought.
Cold love to hot love who said we cannot!

I'm cold in this love.
