A Joyful Walk

by Edgar Jones   Oct 30, 2012

Come share what the day sows
Vibrant walks on a whim
Lovely face, ardent lips, light glow
Lush fragrance billowing from your skin
Birds chirping the melody of your heart
Butterflies circumventing your silhouette
Displeasure of passing the stray dart
Gambit of emotions playing Russian roulette
Joyful angel sitting on a tree
White dove waiting to flee the nest
Distant arrow coming free
Striking the dove's chest
Slowly fall a stream of feathers
Stop to see what comes above
Try to make out those four letters
Looks like they spell...love
