Tear Drop Resurrection (Collab)

by Maple Tree & Naughtymouse   Nov 1, 2012

Take me away,
I wish to hear
the silence of
a trees whisper.

Within their covenant,
spells they cast
to enchant my
fears into dust.

Leaf to leaf
floating upon
winds of decay,
tears drop, silently.

Watering my scars
to bring new life
incubating desolation
into beauty.

I am always amazed at your ability to incorporate pieces of yourself through your nature poems.

    Always.

I think the second stanza is beautiful-

    "Within their covenant,
    spells they cast
    to enchant my
    fears into dust"

Makes me wish that the trees could cast a spell on my own fears...

Ya know, I read your nature pieces and find them all so uniquely different and just beautiful, but this one has got to me...probably because the emotional state of mind I'm in , but it actually inspires me to go sit in a tree, and just listen...just feel the presence of nature....can't say I've truly ever done that...

When you can find inspiration to find yourself in a nature poem, that's incredible.
