Breathing and Breathless

by Yakori bint Muhammed   Nov 1, 2012

16th October, 2012.

Ever thought why we clad with a
draft of bouquets,
guarding our crux to its
ambivalent string.
Emotions are cringing to the
sunny weather
that further questions a
mantle of subtlety.

Beings are invariably swimming in a
stream of uncertainty,
to gather answers that clouds
foaming resilience.
How long can one persevere to
muddling miseries,
cascading down complexities
of life?

Our persona is bewitched to the
insanity of fates decorum
that vows to instill a
basket of virtue.
So many gems are used to adorn the
central grandeur
of humanity swishing escapades
in nature.

Is contentment a pillar to support
a flowery characters tidal gesture
in a vast seasonal storm?
No amount of caprice can be draped
on the shoulder of a quirky
ethical fountain.

When moral integration can only
assure a cruise
with patience and tolerance roots
seeded in earth quaintly.
Then we can ponder in a
labyrinth of vagueness
or accept the imperative rudiments
of life's colours.

Choices and actions lying on a platter
of the skies warmth
can surely be a worthwhile muse.
Live to be exalted like the waterfall flowing
in affluence of its moments tranquility.

As we're indebted to exalt to our purpose
on the sands of our life and its purpose
to accomplish a terrain among jewels of existence.

I loved this whole poem..What an intriguing piece really to speak of life, society, humans and our way of thinking, and decorating it in metaphors to get us thinking...that is creatively brilliant to be honest.
