A Flight in the Blue

by Yakori bint Muhammed   Nov 1, 2012

18th October, 2012.

Moonlight pecks the skies a gracious night as it
descends into its recluse hour with the stars.

Twinkling its lovely flicker across the azure a ray
of the twilight glances its exquisite glint.

Beaming down the ocean its reflection mirrors an
amorous attraction to the winds call for warmth.

An infusion of adore breezes a flow of ample residues
from the airs vapour embracing newness of dew.

Blooming lilies forms a delicate presence with its
fragrance for anointing shower in this coppice.

Cradling the sunflower its yellow emanates a
gesture to the maze formed by its smiles.

A refreshing trickle absorbs the earth as it exudes
an affluence of breathing roses as allies.

The jewels from these shrub enjoy shimmering
their glory upon the yonder of the enclave.

The valley awaits a fiesta with budding petals and
tidal streams dancing to the groves birthday.

Sending a blast of air, moonlights beam,
a spark of sunshine, waves dance for a jamboree.

The wilderness joys in the lavish gift of natures blessings.

I like your choice of wording in each short stanza's. You collectively illustrated an image or small cameo for each of your stanza's which is more than creative in a poem :)

^^ Wow, such a beautiful picture, this poem is very lovely. I enjoy the elegant words you use to describe nature.

This reminds me of standing upon a mountain or giant rock and looking down at the beautiful surroundings and enjoying every little detail of nature. I especially liked the last sentence.
