Ugh.

I have such a hard time commenting on your poems.
I feel like I don't ever have the words to do them justice.

I think this poem is a wonderful affirmation of your love for your husband.

My favorite stanza:

"I write of past
deception and dark
days, but in the end
when I snuggle under
the covers of our
happiness, it is you
who has given me
hope, comfort,
and a peaceful
place to rest
my soul."

As usual, I'm drawn to the piece I can relate to the most. I too, write a lot of dark pieces that are pulled from the past, but it really doesn't do justice to the people that have helped me bring me out of the dark since then.
