Rhapsody of Broken Violin

by AngelicDecadence   Nov 6, 2012

With a delicate scroll,
Slim neck and waist,
One can hear the vibrato,
Of a loving embrace.

That tune long since passed,
Now sits on the shelf,
Dust gracefully setting,
All by oneself.

Still the memory of the notes,
Live in the heart of the piece,
Though the strings are out of use,
The song will never cease.

I liked the flow and rhyme to this poem, the meaning was quite romantic and I loved how you tied up emotions with music and turned them into a poem, nice work.

This is really sweet and tender. The way you connected love to a violin is simply beautiful. The violin makes the most relaxing music and it gives this love a lot of warmth.

I also like how the violin became dusty yet the notes remained.. as if the memory of this love will never be erased even if the love has ended and the music stopped.

    great work! 5/5

This is really good, I love the rhymes, they were simple yet didn't feel forced...I loved how you described love and heartbreak as a violin, the creativity was really unique.

    I love this piece
