Melting Rain

by Maple Tree   Nov 6, 2012

Father kissed a hushing
rainfall, the night I silenced
the exit of a melting horizon.

Kindred spirits, falling
between meadows of green
and silk spun gladiolas.

We rise above the sunrise,
engulfed in natures belly,
may we rest in beauty,

Our spirits wish to inhale the aroma of peace~
