Time to drink milk

by Wafaa   Nov 6, 2012

Windows became crafted
with indelible pain,
spreading dark shadows
all over my walls.

Euphonic voices asked
me to close the curtains,
I demurred.
I was livid.

then, my heart once aloof,
gained its warmth back.
I felt graceful,
forever devoted to rest.

As I gazed at the ceiling,
my emotions became grizzled,
right then I knew,
It was time to drink milk.

    Sonia!!!

I loved the use of the word Euphonic!!
    Seriously, impressive.

And I like how you tie in the milk at the end, when you shut the voices off and are determined to sleep...

Nice entry for the Title Challenge
