Notions

There is something about the notion of your
arms fitting so perfectly around my waist,
me, folding into you-

I don't know that there is an explanation
for it. Perhaps the stars have aligned
and placed you on my path-

Now, somehow, strong and independent,
the woman in me craves the opportunity
for your fingers to fill the spaces between
mine, for you to tell me that you need me-

Your heart to pound and your blood to rush
at the thought of that moment when my
breath tickles your neck, or when my
hand finds yours-

Truth is-
I can't remember how I did without.

My heart, once skeptical, now dreams
of love, lives for it-

I don't know whether I should kiss you
or kill you for it.

What I do know is-

I'm better with you here.

    I really love this one, that is someone very special to have and how you write about it is so romantic. The bond is very strong and there is nothing better than knowing when something is meant to be because it feels right.

    Sigh.....i mean seriously.....because i know how strong a person you are..how independant, this bit made me weak:/ that you yearn for this to be said shows the depth of your feelings and how you've embrace this love.....awesome.

    And those last five lines???? Sometimes i think. You are trying to kill me with your writes " the pen is mightier than the sword" came to mind after the fifth or tenth i read this.......you slayed me with those lines.....

    Just an awesome write Cara.....killed me, wrecked me, chewed me up, spat me out.....then just enveloped me in luuuurve!!!
