Piercing through Shadows

by Jack Nightengale   Nov 10, 2012

Here I am again,
Tainted in red that sinks into my skin,
Cold shadows that leave me be,
But piercing eyes that parts the shadows like a sea.

Dead souls left to rise again,
From out of the ground to breed more sin.
I hear the whispers of people I no longer see,
Ripping through the darkness that comforts me.

Once again I'll let my soul free,
So that you can see what it's like to be me.
Their are no parks, fields or meadows,
Just cold dark eyes that pierce through the shadows.
