When will i see you again

by TheDarkCloudBehindthePoet   Nov 13, 2012

Standing at the foot of his bed, where she use to sleep,
Staring at the indentation, he starts to weep,
Years have passed since she left this world,
Blaming only himself for the loss of his girl,

He rubs the unchanged covers on her side of the bed,
Saying over and over in his head that he wishes he was dead,
What can he do to see her face one more time,
The thoughts of his plan sends chills down his spine,

She meant the world to him, partners for life,
She was so important, that he made her his wife,
Falling down the abyss of memory lane, he takes up a knife,
Convincing himself to take his own life,

It has been a long journey down this road,
He never lays in those covers, even when its cold,
The time has come, the decision has been made, he has no regets,
Outlining her imprint with his cold sweat,

He musters up the courage to lay under the sheets,
Looking at the bloodstains, with her murder on repeat,
Placing the knife to his temple, raising it in the air saying, "this is the end",
With a smile on his face, joy in his heart, and tears in his eyes, "I can't wait to see you again",

The curtain closes.

That is true, bit it only gets healed if we want it to. At the end of the day we have to make the choice. Most often then not I say that we choose to be healed, but others see suicide as the answer. I just have a lot of demons and I try to express them the best I can.

Death is never the best option. Within every scar, healing dwells.
