Suffocation

by MyHalozChokinMe   Nov 15, 2012

Black sunrise over
the foggy dawn.
This tired soul sighs-
Disillusioned
dilapidated by
unshakeable despair,
a disfigured spirit.

I should have known the
balance I kept would
come out from under me-
Crash, smash, bash
my head into a rock,
wounds spread open,
open wounds spread.

Torn between two worlds,
the magnetic force pulls,
tears, splits my heart in half,
seams ripped apart,
stitches of life undone.

No mere prayer, nor haggle
with the eternal can
rescue this...

Stay submerged
Drown the pain
Creep in shadows
Gag the pain
Suffocate
