This poem really gets across the feeling of alienation. "...taking root in/nothing but his own sense of self" Brilliant line. Great write.

"Some men were meant to live alone" IDK its pretty philosophical. I think its safer to say we are all alone in our own way. All of us stuck in a body of flesh and bones never really ever genuinely being able to truly connect to another mind. How do we know if a man was meant to live alone or just a failure at being able to live with somebody? The Bible says its not good for man to be alone, and I believe it!
