Grand Entrance (Quatern)

by Maple Tree   Nov 16, 2012

Bluebells courtesy, sighing at dawn
the clock ticks four, soft morning bliss,
moon shadows prance across the lawn
breezes greet a coffee mug kiss.

Prisms sparkle, sleepy eyes rise
bluebells courtesy, sighing at dawn,
hoot owls bow, respectful and wise
I whisper "goodbye" with a yawn.

Age old wisdom has come and gone
kitty cat's paw begins to play,
bluebells courtesy, sighing at dawn
grand beginning, beautiful day.

Rising sunsets warming my face
forgetting thoughts I dwell upon,
spirited peace lights up this place
bluebells courtesy, sighing at dawn.

Andrea....This is beautiful...I really needed this imagery today, and I knew I could get it from you. The form is gutsy cos I can never get the flow in these poems but you do it expertly! Brilliant :)
