Epoch

by Maple Tree   Nov 17, 2012

Lost in a maze
of white, transparent
coats,
marked with titles,
erased upon
a dark angel's
season, reminded
of who was born
and who is yet to
be....

There is indeed depth in this piece and it is very thoughtful... I perceive this much like the journey of life and its end...

Well Andrea, firstly the title caught my attention and I Googled it and I am still confused, like six different definitions came up, but I am leaning towards this one:

Epoch (geology) or geologic epoch, a span of time smaller than a "period" and larger than an "age"

There was an essence of sadness and a time of pain and mental challenge that was evident in this piece which made the poem feel very deep...but there was hope that can always be seen in your poetry, and that is beautiful

You just move me beyond words sometimes, and I cannot describe my emotions at this present time towards this piece.

    AMAZING PIECE My Darling xxx
