Dehydrate

by Maple Tree   Nov 18, 2012

I submitted a whisper
upon negativity's ear,
bound to a kingdom
of nothingness,
silence carved
his initials
upon the words
that dehydrated
from my tongue.

I see this poem as some sort of prayer that you feel has, so far, been unaswered?

You have said this prayer so many times that your tongue has become dehydrated while you await an answer and yet....you will do it over and over? Just my interpretation...
