Extricate

by MyHalozChokinMe   Nov 18, 2012

I bask before the constantly
glowing embers of your love.
Lying exposed, shedding the
layers offering me protection
from neglect's past chill.

I lick my finger and touch
it to you quick.

I listen, feel for the sizzle.

Wait.

My hardened soul is thawed
by the heat in your eyes,
my insides melting into
rivulets of need along
with the last vestiges
of my reluctance.

I delve into your mind
scanning the silty waters
pondering "How deep?"
wondering "What if?"

I dive into you without
reservation, embracing
the hidden want,
buried need,
burgeoning the
love that had been
trapped within.

    You kill me...sigh....

I try and comment objectivly....but to be frank thats not gonna happen is it? Its either that or not comment and i cant not comment, i love the language in this piece, your control of words always astounds me in your writing whether it be a sad angry or love poem you always seem to throw in words that just rupture my insides and tjis piece is no different...well it is ...but only because it wreckd me more than usual....every word in this piece just gives me shivers of the good kind, and because i know EXACTLY what your saying it just blows my mind and m-e-l-t-s m-e!

A beautiful write from a beautiful soul....love dont even come close xx
