The Artist

by lillie   Nov 20, 2012

You are forever longing to find something:
Magical, Beautiful, and kind.

Your heart is but a ship sailing the lonely waters,
for what it may encounter and see.

Your heart is but a ship sailing alone,
as it has been set free.

Many hearts float past your
beautiful free beating heart. Once long ago you painted a picture upon a canvas, of love, it was but beautiful art.

This piece you painted beautifully faded over time.
This piece of art became sour like lime.

You remember the tears, heartache, and the memories inside your mind.

You are forever longing for something that you may
never find.
