God graces

by Khalid M Darwish   Nov 21, 2012

If your hope got destroyed

just smile, and be sure

that GOD loves you

and never say that luck

would never be complete

but say that I've tried my best

but God did not allocate it for me

Whenever God distributes his graces

without granting you what you want

then you should exactly know

that He would grant you

with something

more beautiful

than what you want

I love this piece!!! I have a relationship with God that I work on strengthening every day and you touched on one of the most important aspects of that relationship. HE knows what I need best, obviously not me (or else I wouldn't have landed in so much trouble in the past!). His grace is amazing! Beautiful piece, thank you!

His ways are always the best!
Well, the theme of the poem is a very good one...
Our expectations may not be fulfilled but it doesn't mean that God does not see or hear what we want or ask for..."He would grant you

    with something

    more beautiful

    than what you want!"

one thing I want to point out :"but God didn't allocated it for me" here, it should be "didn't allocate" not "allocated"!
    Over all, well written!

    I think,

I am not sure but I think it will sound better if you say

"If your hope has gotten destroyed"

And I'm wondering in this sentence...
"but God didn't allocated it for me"

--- What does the " it" represents?

Aside from that this is a great message, I agree completely. God loves us even if our hope fades away. God knows why things don't work out but He also tries his best to keep us protected, its not within his hands to solve our problems but it's up to us to help oneselves that god will gives us the strength to continue forward.

Thank you Lucero for commenting. This is really helpful. I think I may change it to read "If your hope got destroyed". It will even repair the concrete shape, hahaha.
The word "it" refers either to the "hope" or to the "luck". Both cases give the same results.

So true Sir... We always think that we should have been granted something much better but what God plans for us is the best.. And we realise this when we actually trust him..
    Excellent:)
