Tsa-la-tsi-s-gi

by Maple Tree   Nov 22, 2012

Galloping horses
went to ride
upon the deep
green earth,
and as they
glide within
the winds,
they praise
our mother
earth
.
.
.
falling feathers
brave and true
my fathers
sing of peace,
running stallions,
spirit runners,
my brother's
sweet release.

So Andrea, I can never manage to express myself when I read your poems, and I leave silly comments without anything really interesting to say because I am always left with my mouth wide open and many times tears streaming down my face.
I am relieved that there were no tears this time but I still have my mouth wide open and I can feel myself beginning to ramble so...

The title, obviously it caught my attention and I immediately dropped to read the footnote because I could see it and because I was intrigued.

You know I love your nature pieces and those solely on nature are beautifully crafted beyond the realms of my capability and I always always get lost in them, and this was no exception, you just pen the scene capturing all the imagery and making me feel like I am in this piece.

I love the gentle rhymes, they worked so well here with the flow and I just felt so peaceful in the way it was worded.

Again, I have left a comment that is just not to the standards the piece deserves, but I am just in awe as always.

I love you, and I love your poetry :)
