Tears flow and awash my face
for I feel this disgrace
my body is pierced with pain
how I want to leave in vain
or cut out this anguish
from the flesh for it betrays
with a knife of many shades
let the torment flow from the
heart upon the gilded blade
a constant wound that some
day fades.
Piercing the core of my belief
longing for some relief
yet dragging me to a place
that gives me no solace
an empty space to
search for the one thing
I desire, it left without a trace
and I am here with sorrow
and wish tomorrow I can
borrow that feeling I used
to have when you were
