Just a Game

by Magdeline   Nov 28, 2012

As the delirious game passes by
The pieces move forward only an inch
On the board of deception and lies
The pieces move forward only an inch

Hypocrisy and hate
Fill the game
The stench and odor
Spilling over and tainting the players

Set up against each other
Only one will reign
What sense does this make?
The answer, "it's only a game"

But what if the stakes were higher
What if to lose was your life
The sense would be
To abandon the game, stalemate

We can't all win
But we can all just stop
If no one wins
Then no one looses

But then again It's only a game
Let winners win
Let losers lose
It's only a just game
