My Angel

by Riser   Nov 28, 2012

My heart was so cold,
Hatred filled my eyes.
She came and saved my soul.
My angel in diguise.

She mended every crack,
In this heart inside my chest.
And she never turned away,
No matter what secret I had confessed.

Her eyes were never judging,
Her hands gentle as can be.
What did I do so right,
To deserve her loving arms around me?

But I must have messed up badly,
Somewhere down the line.
Because that beautiful heart of her's,
I can no longer call mine.

Her arms hold someone new,
While mine hold only air.
And this hole inside my chest,
Is so much more than I can bare.

Now rain has replaced my sunshine,
And my world is only dark.
Wishing only for my angel,
To come back into my heart.
