Elements of a Summer Day

by The Ninja   Nov 29, 2012

Bright green earth beneath my feet
Grass blades slick with dew
Mother Earth awakening
Showing us a world we never knew

Summer winds carry smells
Of spring days lost long ago
A warm and salty breeze
Blows in gently from the beach

Water flows through my fingers
Small fish bite at my nails
This cool refreshing element
Does the whole world loads of good

Fire, fire, how do you burn so bright?
Anxiosly I await the ritual tonight
Fire, you keep the world warm and good
So of course I rejoice in our elemental sisterhood

All elements gathered here today
I thank thee for appearing
Now, with all formalities being said;
I bid thee merry meet, part, and merry meet again!

Cute you mixed the old english with the new english it's a good combo and the story is wonderful! :) everyone can see the images! :) my favorite line would be "Fire, you keep the world warm and good
So of course I rejoice in our elemental sisterhood"

    good job
