I really like what you were doing here fella. My only criticism would be consistancy, ive written a few of these and it took me a while to realise how i was writing it.

For example...when you use thee's thy's and thou's....try to keep them going replacing the you and yours.....

Im really fond of old english and i genuinly think your style of writing would fit well with it :)). Id like to see more of these.

I hope the criticism is taken as it was meant .

    Good job fella.

I rarely see poems written in old English around here, I am so glad you decided to use it in this piece.

Brilliant poem, and nominated for sure :)

Hmmm Tony this is so different. I've only read Old English poems by Ben, so the contrast here from his writing and yours threw me off lol...

however, for trying something different I love it!! Its so great to see different stuff....Now, for some reason when I think old english, I think of bigger words, or more twisting metaphors around it, but again that could probably be because I've only ever read Bens and maybe thats what I thoguht an old english piece should read like, but consistency is the key no matter who writes it and I think this needs a tad bit more of it.

No matter what, the sadness and the aching and the begging all could be felt from your words here so I think you did well with getting across what you wanted to say in this form!

    I like it
It made you sound like you were from the older days
It made you sound really wise and it was just amazing !!!

Interesting... I like the Shakespearean aspect of this poem.. it was different and unique. We obviously don't write or speak like that anymore so it was a different take.

I liked the topic of this poem.. and the ending... really enjoyed it!

I find this poem to be interesting in the fact that's written in old English language bringing the thoughts of Bible times to mind. I also found this write to be emotional and sad, my favorite part is the ending.

I think...... you should experiment more. I love the older style language being used in poetry especially in a more updated version of emotions. It works really well here and makes it so much more powerul to read and on the eye.

Very well done, it was a very sad worded poem but the message and idea behind it so very unique, to the broken heart but being a murder. So clever, well done.

Tony this is beautiful! I really admire how you wrote in old English, it flowed well and portrayed still that lingering sadness of your emotions. Good job :)

I do love old English! Its elegant and rich when written in a way that makes the words flow like a song! This poem did just that for me. Its graceful and filled with sorrow. I had a vision of a knight, standing at the top of a cliff, confessing his broken heart to the wind. It gave me a Romeo and Juliet feel to it, which I admire. I'm glad the author decided to try something new, because I felt it did a beautiful job with this piece! Well Done!!!!

This is like medieval. Very interesting feel to it. This feels like a trial, almost. And you're the judge delivering a verdict and a prosecutor seeing all the evidence of damage and such. It's pretty creative there, Tony. c:

This is brilliant Tony. I love the implementation of the old style here - there's no bigger fan than me of it. It brings an extra..........romance to any poetry, doesn't it?
