I am Nature

by Maple Tree   Dec 4, 2012

I come from dark earth
and emerald towers,
draped in dew tears
filtering a new day.

I am the hushing wind
as breezes ignite life,
pulsating energy as
seedlings scurry by.

I was the kiss of a
raging riverbed,
treacherous yet
mild in the end,

of a sunset.

I
am
nature

Goodness, this has a warm tent to is. It's full of beautiful imagery of natures roots. I do feel like it should be longer though, like I was sad when I finished reading it. (Maybe because it's so beautiful and I didn't want it to end.) Who knows.

Aww, I like this, though I felt like I wanted a bit more.

I was following everything, the sound of the words, and it was captivating. Until I got to "I am nature", I felt like I just needed something more to enchanting more. Aside from that, I enjoyed the read.
